Anyone been to Sardinia?

It also has some incredible nature – Gola di Gorrupo is a breathtaking beautiful gorge/canyon that really reminds me of northern California.

The people are pretty warm and friendly on the whole. When we stayed with my friend in Cuglieri, there was a special event where everyone in the village had an 'open door' for the evening, you could go inside and meet them, drink homemade wine and eat delicious local snacks (seadas – a cheese and honey pastry).

A few photos from the last time I went, which was actually during winter a few years back, but the weather was still not too bad.
