A melting pot of food from various cultures with many varieties of vegetarian food and halal food.
Due to it's proximity to the equator, it's hot and humid all year round.
Changi airport is a city by itself, with restaurants/food courts, grocery stores, shopping mall, movie theater, medical & dental, pharmacies, optometrist, post office and swimming pool, just to name some.
 
Singapore on a budget - Travel by subway and bus, just get an EZLink card from the MRT station which is usable for both the MRT and buses. Dine at the hawker center or food court in the mall which averages about US$7. Shop at Mustafa Center or Bugis Street for bargains.
 
Singapore is such a fascinating destination! I was blown away by how efficient and clean the public transport system is—getting an EZLink card for the MRT and buses made exploring the city a breeze. The hawker centers are a must-try for anyone who loves authentic, budget-friendly food. Changi Airport also felt like a mini city—worth arriving early just to explore it. Have any of you visited Gardens by the Bay? It’s a surreal experience!

I have only been to Garden by the Bay for the night show. I enjoy the light show lying down looking up. Have yet to explore the garden during the day.

I was supposed to be in Singapore right now but was not able to check in due to my first and last name inverted on my ticket 😕
