Finding Hidden Gems In Thailand?

I am heading to Thailand in October and wondering of any off the beaten path destinations that tourists rarely visit? I will come back and post if I find any once I finish my trip!
 
I still haven't been to Thailand either but I read about a small town called Sangkhlaburi that looks really cool! It has the longest handmade wooden bridge in Thailand. To be honest I looks sketchy haha, but I would have to cross it if I went!
