Tanzania solo?

Hi everyone! Has anyone here traveled to Tanzania solo? I have been to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Rwanda, but only Zimbabwe solo and it was a bit easier. Lots of solo supplements and I know I need a driver to get around, upping the costs. Any experience? Worth a big splurge? TIA!

Ooo piggybacking off of this thread because this sounds incredible! There is so much left of Africa I want to see. Out of curiosity, what did you find easier about being solo in Zimbabwe?
