Hi I'm trying to plan an amazing beach trip for myself and my 20 year old daughter. I love the Caribbeanand and want to stay away from Mexico. An island with with things for her to do and see a younger adult crowd. Allinclusive resort with many activities and restaurants would be wonderful for my daughter. Crystal clear, calm water is all I'm looking for. It's so very difficult to narrow down the top destination. Can anyone recommend an island and resort?

The Dominican Relublic always comes in second after Mexico. The all inclusive resorts have everything you mentioned. If she is wanting to have fun as well in terms of meeting people and a little bit of a party vibe then the Riu Republica or Hard Rock. But in terms of a more laid back vibe with lots of Activities still then Secrets Cap Cana or Majestic Elegance Punta Cana.

I'd recommend the Bahamas. Places like Nassau or Paradise Island have gorgeous white sand and crystal clear water. Most resorts there are all inclusive with lots of day and night options to keep busy - watersports, beach parties, swimming with dolphins are popular.
