Traveling by bus

I find traveling by bus to be more convenient than flying within Mexico cities, unless it's too far and I don't have the luxury of time.
ETN bus in Mexico is clean, has full size recliner and separate toilets for men and women. It's cheaper to get the ticket online than at the bus station.

I am curious about bus travel in Mexico as I have always flown. Other than longer time, did you find any other drawbacks of traveling by bus in Mexico @Phoenix ? Do they constantly think their horns like In Asia?

There was a stand still traffic on one of my ride but that didn't bother me. It was more comfortable than waiting in a plane.
I have not taken a long haul bus in Asia to comment on it.
